Bill and Sharon, his wife for 39 years, raised their  children in Grandview MO and then for almost 20 years on a small farm south of Butler MO. Sharon has retired from homeschooling after 30 years but is now active in the camp ministry and the lives of their  grandchildren.

Bill holds a diploma from Liberty University in Advanced Biblical Studies and as an ordained minister of the gospel is the
Minister of Discipleship/Apologetics & Missions at First Baptist Church in Butler MO. He also teaches the Jr. High / Sr. High Sunday School class and serves as a deacon.

Bill retired from Southwestern Bell/AT&T in February of 2016 and became the manager of Kamp Keirsey in July 2016 and currently reside at the kamp.

Bill believes that Kamp Keirsey is, and will continue to be, an incredible tool in the hand of God where young people can be evangelized and taught discipleship and leadership skills not only as campers but as counselors and summer missionaries
Bill believes Kamp Keirsey should be a place to train and educate church members through conferences, and to strengthen marriages through Christ-centered marriage retreats.

                                                               Bill's Ministry Philosophy:

To teach the Word of God so our youth will know what they believe and why they believe it.
To inspire our youth to work out the Word of God in their lives to be truly Christ-like.
To encourage our youth to share the Word of God daily through mentoring, teaching, and Godly counsel.

"For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. " (Ezra 7:10)
